We are dedicated to developing Ridley Park through events and charitable activities that allow residents of all ages the opportunity to share and participate in our ongoing growth.
By promoting recycling, healthy lifestyle choices and healthy eating at our annual farmers market, we are able to assist our local government in creating a positive environment for all that attend. Our local musicians and community organizations, i.e. Alex’s Lemonade, TCF Pay It Forward Fund, and various resident-driven fundraising efforts are able to gain greater exposure and ultimately greater support. Collection efforts for our local food bank, The Loaves and Fishes, raises awareness as well as replenishing their supply.
By partnering with BUCU, Taylor Community Foundation and Crozer Keystone Health System (Taylor Hospital), we have dedicated alliances within our community and are able to reach a wider based audience.
Our annual Fall Festival allows local artisans and creative residents an outlet to sell their wares, home-grown fruits and vegetables. Local musicians have an outlet for their talent. The community comes together to support one another and foster a sense of “small town” pride.
Our goal is to be able to expand on our philanthropic acts to provide scholarships, raise funds for our local library, volunteer fire company, Ridley Park Athletic Club, Barnstormers Theatre, Chester Pike Rotary, Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and other worthy causes as well as improving town signage and other necessary quality improvements.
As we continue to grow, there is no end to the ways in which we can contribute to the Ridley Park community while creating excitement about what a wonderful town in which we live!
